HomeCoachingBenefits
Why would you want to do one on one coaching? Check out some of the benefits:
It is laser-focused on you and your specific needs.
This allows us to be efficient in our work together. You decide what you would like help with and avoid long classes, books, or topics that don’t apply to your situation.

It gives you another perspective.
Sometimes we get so absorbed by the issues or overwhelmed with information or emotion that we can no longer see clearly. Coaching can help you take a step back and gain perspective on the situation.

It is results focused.
I will clarify your goal and what a successful outcome looks like before we start working together. That way, your goal will be the focus of our conversations and we will use it to keep us on track.

It is confidential.
Sometimes we are not comfortable discussing our challenges with others, in the workplace or even with friends or family. I will keep our conversations confidential, and I am committed to providing you with valuable resources, support and information that you can use to be successful.

What does a single coaching session include?

Email follow-up. After your session, Shannon will send a follow up email containing a brief summary of the discussion, commitments, and relevant resources.

What does email support include?
During the time you are working with Shannon, email support is provided for answers to quick questions you may have between coaching sessions. For example, if you are looking for information on an appropriate salary range for a specific job or a resource on informational interviewing, you can use email support. If you are looking for ideas on more in-depth questions such as how to best promote yourself during an interview or help with polishing your resume, it is best to schedule a 30 or 60 minute coaching session.
